About

I understand what it’s like to be told everything looks “normal” while you don’t feel normal—and how confusing and isolating that can be. Those experiences deepened my commitment to learning how the body responds to nutrition, lifestyle, and stress, and they continue to shape the compassionate, whole-person approach I bring to my practice today.

That understanding is part of why Spring Valley Health & Wellness exists.

I am a Certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner (CNP) and former nurse with a deep commitment to whole-person wellness. My approach blends science-based nutrition with natural, holistic support to help uncover root causes—not just manage symptoms. Through my clinical background, I’ve seen what can happen when health concerns are left too long—and how much can improve when imbalances are addressed early through nutrition, lifestyle, and preventive care.

My educational background includes a B.A. degree in Sociocultural Anthropology from York University, which shaped my belief that health is influenced by more than biology alone—it is connected to environment, lifestyle, culture, and lived experience. I later completed my post-graduate nutrition training at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, earning my designations as a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner (CNP, NNCP). I have also contributed as a health writer for wellness publications and educational platforms, helping translate evidence-informed nutrition concepts into practical, everyday guidance.

Who I Help

I work with adults—especially women navigating midlife changes—who are looking for a clearer, more supportive path to better health.

Many of my clients come to me with concerns such as:

  • Digestive issues and gut imbalance

  • Hormone changes and metabolic shifts

  • Fatigue and low energy

  • Stress and nervous system balance

  • Chronic or recurring symptoms without clear answers

If you’ve ever felt dismissed, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, my goal is to provide clarity and practical direction. I take the time to understand your story, your health history, your labs (when available), and your goals so we can create a personalized and sustainable plan.

Rather than restrictive or complicated protocols, my goal is to make wellness feel simple, sustainable, and empowering. I also provide health education in community settings, including health food stores and retail wellness spaces, helping individuals learn practical ways to support their health in everyday life.
